Our Empowerment and Mentorship Program provides support to women and teenage girls (starting at age 13). It is designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals and promote personal growth by maximizing functional ability, independence, self-love, and exposure to real-life activities.
We connect people who have specific skills and knowledge (mentors) with individuals (protégés) who need or want the same skills. Our participants share their values and personal goals in a mutually respectful, supportive way which leads to a more enriched life for both. The goal of the mentorship program is to help break down barriers and create opportunities for success.
Participation in our mentorship program has shown recorded increases in:
- Regard for and comfort with members of other races
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with others
- Decision-making ability in the career-choice process
Each program is delivered at no cost to families or individuals and is often delivered via phone, e-mail interactions, and face-to-face contact. If this is something you or your teenager may be interested in, contact us to make an appointment.
